Champion Superbowl Dip

Okay guys and gals… I am no cook (when I say “no cook” I mean I am a negative cook.. can. not. cook. at. all.) But this recipe can make anyone look like a chef genius!

This stuff is so addicting I usually have to double the recipe just so everyone gets their fair share of dip at parties! It is called Captain Rodney’s Cheese Bake, and here is how easy it is to make.

1/2 cup mayo

8 oz cream cheese

2 cups sharp cheddar cheese (grated)

2 green onions (chopped)

1/2 cup Captain Rodney’s Glaze (found at Publix only)

Ritz Crackers

8 pieces of bacon or Real Bacon bits

First things first, preheat the oven to 350 BEFORE you start the cooking process. I am the worst and forget to turn the oven on until I am ready to stick the pan in…

Mix the mayo, cream cheese, cheese, and green onions in a bowl. After that is completed, crumble Ritz crackers on top. Put this in the oven for 15 minutes.

After the 15 minutes is up, take that bad boy out and add the Captain Rodney’s sauce. I like to add a little extra to mine and I do my best to completely cover the top in the glaze.

Lastly, add the bacon bits! Put the dip back in the oven for 5 minutes then whaaaaaa laaaaah!

You have the best Super Bowl snack! When I walk into the Super Bowl party I am going to have the lyrics “Two hands in the air, I’m a champion,” from Carrie Underwood’s song The Champion playing over and over in my head.

Use Ritz crackers for dipping and be sure to get enough before it’s all out!
